This one is for the books

This morning I went to the bathroom and after I sat down I realized that there was no toilet paper. AHHHH!!! I was in a bad situation. Dave was sleeping upstairs with the door shut and the window unit on, he got off work at 6AM so he was not available. I asked Cali to get me some wipes, the laundry room door was shut and I don't think she would remember where we kept the toilet paper. She came back with a diaper, right direction wrong item. I ask her again and she brings me another diaper. AHHHH!!! I keep asking her to bring me wipes and at this point she thinks its a game, she keeps leaving and coming back empty-handed. After 5 minutes of this I start freaking out because I have nothing to wipe my bum with and then she hasn't come back. I get really nervous by now, I finally hear her coming down the stairs and I ask her one more time to bring me some wipes to wipe my bum... little did I know that she was on her way down with the box of wipes. My baby is a live saver, she saved the day!
And what's a post with out a picture of my two favorite picture.

So that didn't workout

Remember how I mentioned I took out the crib bumpers last week? Well 15 minutes after I had put Cali to bed last night she started crying and I didn't sounds like her usual " I don't want to sleep" cry so I went upstairs to check on her and her leg was stuck between the crib rails. That was my biggest fear and main reason why I was afraid to take the crib bumper out. I felt so sad and of course put the bumper back in.
Well the doctor was right, Cali climbed out of her crib this morning. I put her down for a nap and jumped in the shower. I kept hearing noises while I was in the shower but couldn't figure out what is was so as soon as I got out of the shower I went to check on Cali and sure enough she was playing in her room trying to get the door open. And sure enough she used the bumper to climb out of her crib. So once again the bumpers are out.

She climbed out the side of the crib, as you can see the sides are shorter and she's one smart cookie.

Funny Faces

Cali makes the funniest faces now and she's getting such a stubborn personality, like her parents.

Say Cheese

Whenever I take pictures of Dave he always makes this goofy smile which causes him to have one eye partially closed... Like this
Cheeze1w
Well this time I told him to try to keep both eyes open and I told Cali to say cheese! And this is what I got...

Pictures like this make me smile! And I hope they make you smile too.

15 Month Appointment

Cali had her 15 month appointment last week. Our shorty is quickly growing.
She's 23 pounds 4 ounces and 33.5 inches tall. We were told that we should probably take the crib bumpers out because some kids use them to climb out of the crib. I took the bumper out today and we had a little mini photo session.

SAHM here I come

Today I handed my boss my resignation letter, I will soon be a SAHM (Stay-at-Home-Mom).
There are lots of changes happening in our life. Dave is going on deployment and Cali and I are taking a trip. We will be heading to Houston for a little while and then north to Oklahoma. We are also in the process of buying our first home in the California Central Valley where we will settle once Dave gets out of the Military. I will post pictures of our new home once we close. We just hope Cali can quickly adjust.

Potty Training Day 2

Well potty training was not a success. But we're okay with it. There are a lot of changes happening so we feel like it's actually best that Cali isn't potty trained.
We'll try again when we're settle into our new home, if we ever get one
I think Cali needs a real pony
