Cali went on her first airplane ride. This is her at the airport, I wasn't able to get any pictures on the airplane because my hand were full.
She did wonderful on both flights (there and back), she didn't cry once. On the way there, to Sacramento, we sat next to a weird man who smelled like smoke (Dave and I thought he was a convict). Cali pooped of course so I had to change her, for those of you that didn't know there is actually a changing table in the front "lavatory" or bathroom. But besides that the flight was pretty uneventful.
The first place we went to was Great Grandma Jewel and Great Grandpa Roy's. GG Jewel didn't know we were coming in so early so we surprised her.
The next few days we just hung around the house. This is what Grandpa Roy does to his grand baby
On Wednesday we drove to South Lake Tahoe. It was so beautiful. We were on the third story and we had the best view of the entire place. When you looked out one window you could see the desert and out the other window the mountains.

On Thursday we had a fun filled day of skiing, well for the most part. There was a storm rolling in so it was really windy and most of the lifts were closed, only 2 lifts were open on the side of the mountain we were on, a blue and a green (we didn't know about the green at first, the easiest run). So Dave and I go up the mountain, it was really cold and windy but a nice 10 minute ride up the mountain. Going down the mountain is another story. Going down took about an hour, but in my defense I have only been skiing once before and it was over two years ago. At first I wasn't scared but 2 minutes into it things changed, it wasn't pretty. I'm not going to go into detail but I will say that I spent most of the time on my butt on the side of the mountain and at one point I even took my skies off and walked down the mountain. But once we got the the green run things changed, I was finally able to "ski" down the the mountain. I would like to take this time to thank my wonderful husband for being so patient, without him I would have never been able to get down the mountain. In the end I had a blast and was sad that we only had one day of skiing.
One last note. Cali is officially 4 months old!
